We have a new member to Cancer Network, Dr.Thomas Ryan, his post on our guestbook was so powerful, I decided to copy it here so everyone may share.

I am a cancer survivor. I had a testicular cancer in med school. Two surgeries later, my wife and I had little chance of having children. Then three miracles occurred- they are now adults, psychologists, and life coaches. We all are very interested in helping cancer patients through the Duffy Achievement Group for Life Coaching and Mentoring. As a patient, I almost let the disease control me but through the love of God and my wife, it never happened. To all those battling- stay strong and determined. Remember: That "all things work for the good for those who love God." If you are angry with God, it is OK. That is why you have friends and people like us to pray for you. Be courageous and if you can't just fake it until you make it. I practiced medicine for 30 years and now am helping my wife and children help those with the disease I had and the patients who have it.

The Twitter cancer-fighting campaign Blame Drew’s Cancer asks Twitter users to add the hashtag #blamedrewscancer to Tweets about their problems in life.

The campaign, organized by Drew Olanoff http://blamedrewscancer.comafter being diagnosed with cancer himself, aims to hit back at cancer while also raising funds for LIVESTRONG.
This weekend the campaign gets a theme song, of sorts, with YouTube user Paul Dateh penning the track below. It’s the latest effort in a string of successes for social media charity campaigns.
